Jenn McLeod, PhD, CRNP
Jenn McLeod joined University Sleep Disorders Center in 2015 as a board certified Nurse Practitioner. Jenn sees most of USDC's patients for pre-study and post-study follow-ups, serving as a trusted partner in our patients' journeys to healthy and restful sleep. She holds staff appointments at Russell Medical Center, Coosa Valley Medical Center, and Elmore Community Hospital.
Jenn is a native of Birmingham, AL and graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing with a Bachelor degree in the Science of Nursing in 1995. Following a professional career in clinic and nursing she returned to UAB, completeing her doctorate in the Science of Nursing in 2011. After teaching at Auburn University School of Nursing she returned to school to obtain her Nurse Practitioner license in 2014. She is board certified in both nationally accredited licensing agencies, the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honour Society of Nursing and the Golden Key International Honour Society.
Dr. Jenn enjoys being involved in the clinical care of patients and their families. Her clinical practice spans ear, nose, and throat disorders, sleep medicine, allergies, and skin disorders.
Dr. Jenn is married to Dr. McLeod and they have three daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, fishing, exercising, and volunteer work.
F. Anthony McLeod, MD, FACS
Dr. Tony McLeod is board certified in both otolaryngology and sleep medicine, and has been in private practice in east-central Alabama since 1996; with office locations in Alexander City, Anniston, Auburn, Montgomery, Prattville, Ashland, Wetumpka, Sylacauga, and Talladega, Alabama. He is on the medical staff at Russell Medical Center (Alexander City, AL), Coosa Valley Medical Center (Sylacauga, AL), Citizens Baptist Medical Center (Talladega, AL), Clay County Hospital (Ashland, AL), and Elmore Community Hospital (Wetumpka, AL). He is the medical director of the sleep labs at Russell Medical Center, Coosa Valley Medical Center, Citizens Baptist Medical Center, Elmore Community Hospital, Clay County Hospital, University Sleep Disorders Center, Southern Sleep Diagnostics, Sleep South Diagnostics (Montgomery & Prattville), and Emerald Coast Sleep Diagnostics.
Dr. McLeod is a native of Lineville, Alabama. He completed his undergraduate degree at Auburn University, and he completed his medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine. He graduated in the top 15% and clinical average top 5% at UAB. Dr. McLeod completed his residency at UAB and served as Chief Resident in the Division of Otolaryngology, Dept. of Surgery. He is board certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and board certified in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a Fellow of the American Rhinologic Society and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He is a member of several medical societies and has presented numerous community education seminars and screenings.
Dr. McLeod enjoys both the office based clinical practice of otolaryngology as well as surgical practice. Seeing patients of all ages and providing care to whole families is especially rewarding. His practice includes all areas of adult and pediatric ENT with special interests in sleep disorders, allergy and immunotherapy, endoscopic sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty, and thyroid surgery.
Personal interests include hunting, fishing, playing golf, and of course cheering on those Auburn Tigers (War Eagle!). He is married to Jenn McLeod, PhD, CRNP, the nurse practitioner at USDC, and who also practices as the nurse practitioner for Southern Head and Neck Surgery. Together, Dr. Mcleod and Jenn have 3 wonderful daughters.
David Moore, RPSGT, CCSH
David Moore is a registered polysomnographic technologist, certified in clinical sleep health, and a clinical sleep educator. He began his career in sleep medicine in as a sleep technician in 2001. He is Clinical Director for University Sleep Disorders Center and has had the honor of serving as an instructor at the Atlanta School of Sleep Medicine since 2018.
He is an active member of the AAST and the AASM and has had the opportunity to speak at multiple sleep conferences around the southeast. He has participated in numerous community education opportunities and enjoys educating the public about sleep disorders and their link to comorbidities. He prides himself in giving each patient all the information they need to make the best decision for their personal treatment plan and helping them achieve that plan.
